THE SUNFLOWER COLLECTION
Bright seasonal blooms nurtured under open skies.
Cultivation & Growing Story
Sunflowers require full sunlight and well-draining soil. Their deep roots help loosen compact soil while bringing immense vibrancy to outdoor landscapes. At PlantsField, we cultivate sunflowers with care, ensuring each plant receives the attention it needs to thrive.
From the moment the seed is planted to the day the flower turns its face toward the sun, the sunflower embodies resilience and quiet optimism. Our collection includes a variety of species — from towering giants to delicate branching varieties — each with its own character and charm.
Seasonal Availability
Sunflowers are at their peak during the summer months, with blooms appearing from mid-summer through early autumn. We grow multiple varieties to extend the flowering season, ensuring a continuous display of golden petals and warm, inviting presence.

HOW TO GROW SUNFLOWERS
Planting
Sow seeds directly in the ground after the last frost. Plant 1 inch deep and 6 inches apart.
Sunlight
Sunflowers need 6-8 hours of direct sunlight daily. Choose a sunny location for best results.
Watering
Water regularly but allow soil to dry between waterings. Deep watering encourages strong root growth.
Support
Tall varieties may need staking to withstand wind. Use bamboo stakes or natural supports.

Fragrance & Care Traditions
Selected for character and robustness, our roses are cultivated using organic composting practices to maximize bloom density and floral longevity. Each rose variety is chosen for its unique fragrance, color, and ability to thrive in our care.
Roses have long been celebrated as symbols of beauty, love, and ceremony. At PlantsField, we honor this tradition by growing roses that reflect the full spectrum of their heritage — from classic damask roses with their intoxicating perfume to modern hybrid teas with their elegant form.
Seasonal Care
Roses require regular pruning, feeding, and attention to thrive. Our team provides guidance on seasonal care, from spring pruning to winter protection, ensuring your roses remain healthy and vibrant year after year.

HOW TO CARE FOR ROSES
Pruning

Feeding
Feed roses with a balanced organic fertilizer in spring and again after the first flush of blooms for continuous flowering.
Watering
Water deeply at the base of the plant to encourage deep roots. Avoid wetting the foliage to prevent disease.
Protection
Protect roses from harsh winter weather with mulch and burlap wrapping in colder climates. Monitor for pests regularly.
LEAVES WITH A STORY
Camellia sinensis varieties cultivated for leaf quality and heritage.
From Harvest to Cup
Tea plants offer structural evergreen beauty to the garden while allowing home growers to experience the ritual of harvesting tender leaf flushes. Each leaf carries the character of its environment, reflecting the soil, climate, and care with which it was grown.
At PlantsField, we cultivate Camellia sinensis varieties with a deep respect for the traditions of tea. From the first spring flush to the late-season harvest, each leaf is carefully selected and processed to preserve its unique qualities.
Growing & Processing
Tea plants thrive in well-drained, acidic soil with partial shade. They require patience — it can take three years for a plant to produce enough leaves for harvest. Our processing methods honor tradition, from withering and rolling to oxidation and drying.
Browse Tea Plants →TEA VARIETIES
Camellia Sinensis
The classic tea plant, producing both green and black tea depending on processing. A hardy evergreen with glossy leaves and delicate white flowers.
Imperial Green
A premium variety known for its tender, flavorful leaves. Ideal for green tea production with a smooth, vegetal character.
Assamica
A robust variety originating from Assam, known for its bold, malty character. Perfect for black tea production and blending.
HOW TO GROW TEA
Planting
Plant in well-drained, acidic soil (pH 4.5-5.5). Choose a location with partial shade and protection from strong winds.
Watering
Keep soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Tea plants are sensitive to drought and overwatering.
Pruning
Prune regularly to encourage bushy growth and increase leaf production. Remove dead or crossing branches.
Harvest
Harvest the top two leaves and bud when young and tender. Spring flushes produce the highest quality leaves.
LILY IN SILENCE
Graceful forms and calm presence for deliberate spaces.
Blooming Cycles
Lilies thrive in sheltered conditions with cool root zones and sunny tops. Ideal for quiet garden nooks and elegant cut arrangements, they bring a sense of calm and refinement to any space.
At PlantsField, we grow lilies with attention to their natural cycles. From the first green shoots in early spring to the spectacular summer blooms, each stage is a reminder of nature's quiet power and beauty.
Varieties & Care
Our lily collection includes a range of varieties, from the classic Madonna Lily with its pure white petals to vibrant Asiatic hybrids in bold colors. Each variety is chosen for its beauty, fragrance, and adaptability to different garden settings.
Browse Lilies →LILY VARIETIES
Madonna Lily
Pure white historic lily with delicate recurved petals and a subtle, enchanting fragrance. A symbol of purity and grace in gardens for centuries.
Golden Ray
Vibrant yellow trumpet lily with distinct dark freckles at the center. Brings warmth and brightness to any garden setting.
Asiatic Ruby
Bold ruby-red lily with upward-facing blooms. A stunning addition to borders and containers with excellent disease resistance.
HOW TO CARE FOR LILIES
Planting
Plant bulbs in well-drained soil with the top of the bulb 6-8 inches below the surface. Choose a sunny location.
Watering
Water regularly during the growing season. Keep the soil moist but avoid waterlogging, which can cause bulb rot.
Feeding
Apply a balanced organic fertilizer in early spring and again after flowering to support bulb development.
Aftercare
Allow foliage to die back naturally after flowering. Cut back dead stems in late autumn and mulch for winter protection.
BOTANICAL CATALOGUE
WE DON'T JUST GROW PLANTS.
We cultivate connections between living spaces and natural rhythms.
PlantsField began as a small botanical experiment in patient agriculture. Today, it remains an artistic botanical repository and active nursery focused on seasonal integrity, soil stewardship, and structural plant quality.
What started with a handful of heirloom seeds and a quiet patch of earth has grown into something larger — a living archive of cultivated beauty, a place where plants are tended with the same care and attention that one would give to a living story.
WHAT WE BELIEVE IN
Patient Cultivation
We believe that the best things grow slowly. Our approach to cultivation is unhurried, intentional, and deeply respectful of natural cycles.
Soil Stewardship
Healthy plants begin with healthy soil. We practice regenerative growing methods that nourish the earth and support biodiversity.
Seasonal Integrity
We honor the rhythm of the seasons, growing plants when they naturally thrive and celebrating the unique beauty of each season.
FROM SEED TO SANCTUARY
PlantsField was founded in 2018 by a small group of horticulturists and designers who shared a common vision: to create a space where plants are celebrated as living works of art.
What began as a modest nursery has evolved into a curated botanical destination — a place where rare and heritage plants are cultivated with care, and where visitors can reconnect with the quiet beauty of the natural world.
Today, PlantsField is home to hundreds of plant varieties, from sunflowers and roses to lilies and tea plants, each chosen for its character, beauty, and ability to thrive in our care.

FROM SEED TO SOMETHING MORE
A journey of patience, growth, and the quiet beauty of cultivated life.
A SIMPLE PLOT OF LAND
In 2018, PlantsField began with nothing more than a simple plot of land and a commitment to patience. The soil was turned by hand, seeds were planted with care, and the first green shoots were met with quiet celebration.
What started as a modest experiment quickly revealed something deeper — a connection to the land, a rhythm of growth, and a sense of purpose that would shape everything to come.
The first season taught us that plants don't follow schedules. They follow light, water, and the changing seasons. We learned to listen, to observe, and to let nature lead.
EXPERIMENTING WITH HERITAGE SEEDS
The second season was one of exploration. We began experimenting with heritage seeds — varieties that had been passed down through generations, each carrying its own story and character.
We embraced natural composting methods, learning to feed the soil rather than just the plants. The results were remarkable — healthier plants, richer blooms, and a deeper understanding of the ecosystem beneath our feet.
This was when we discovered our passion for preserving biodiversity and celebrating the unique beauty of heirloom varieties.
EXPANDING INTO TEA CULTIVARS, HERITAGE ROSES & NATIVE LILIES
As the farm grew, so did our collection. We expanded beyond annuals to include perennial treasures — tea cultivars from heritage stock, roses with centuries of history, and lilies native to the surrounding landscape.
Each new plant brought with it a new lesson. The tea plants taught us patience and the art of harvest. The roses reminded us of the beauty of imperfection. The lilies showed us the power of quiet presence.
Today, the farm is home to hundreds of plant varieties, each with its own place in the garden and its own story to tell.
DOCUMENTING BLOOMS AS A MODERN BOTANICAL ARCHIVE
What began as a simple garden has evolved into something larger — a living archive of botanical beauty, a record of seasons, blooms, and the quiet rhythms of growth.
We document every bloom, every leaf, every moment of transformation. Our collection is not just a garden — it's a chronicle of nature's artistry, preserved for future generations to appreciate and learn from.
Through our botanical archive, we hope to inspire others to look more closely at the natural world and to find beauty in the details that often go unnoticed.
